About us

Real Estate Balance is the membership body advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion in UK real estate and its associated sectors.

Real Estate Balance was formed in 2015 to address gender imbalance at senior levels in real estate businesses. Since then, we have expanded our focus to address underrepresentation when it comes to ethnicities and social backgrounds in our industry.

We work with industry leaders and senior leadership teams, supporting them in driving cultural change and identifying best practice which we can share across our membership, contributing to the enhanced performance of the industry as a whole.

Through our advocacy work and other activities like our events programme, Toolkit and publications, we aim to support our members in making progress towards diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces.

We also facilitate a committee of younger members of the real estate industry, a network of parents and a group focused on developing policies and campaigns to make a difference.
