Dynamic Working

Real Estate Balance and Barclays are jointly hosting a breakfast event for CEOs and senior leaders on Dynamic Working on 14 November 2019 at Barclays' offices in Canary Wharf.

Real Estate Balance’s recent research report “Fast-tracking gender balance across Real Estate, 2019” shows that agile working was chosen by men and women as the number one success factor in businesses achieving gender balance in senior leadership positions.

Agile working continues to gain momentum and pressure is growing for flexibility to be the default for every business unless they have a sound business case for a job to be otherwise. Feedback also shows a direct link between flexibility and people feeling more engaged. That has a knock-on effect with productivity, staff retention and also boosts recruitment - it's key to staying competitive.

Therefore, we thought it was imperative to provide our members with practical tools and benefits to consider adopting an agile working policy in their business.

Barclays are forerunners in this field and Dynamic Working, the flagship initiative for their Multigenerational agenda, is now in its fifth year. Barclays have come together with Real Estate Balance to share their experiences at an event for CEOs and senior leaders.

We are delighted that Ian Rand, CEO Business Banking, Barclays UK and personal advocate for inclusion and diversity, will be our lead speaker at this event.

This event is a must for the leaders of organisations seeking to change their working culture and to secure the business benefits of creating a stronger, more loyal and diverse workforce.

Thursday 14 November 2019 8.30-10.30am (exact timings to be confirmed)
Barclays at level 2, 1 Churchill Place, London E14 5HP

A formal invitation from Barclays with more detail on our speakers will be sent out to CEOs and senior leaders in due course but if you would like to register your interest in the event please send an email to
