Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting

PwC are hosting a roundtable for Real Estate Balance members on Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting on 2 April 2020 at their offices, 7 More London Riverside, London SE1 2RT

Ethnicity pay is an increasingly important topic as seen by the recent Government Consultation on introducing mandatory reporting.

Real Estate Balance works closely with PwC in many areas including our bi-annual surveys and more recently on the reported 2018 gender pay gap and bonus gap figures for the real estate sector.

With the upcoming challenge of data collection and reporting on ethnicity pay, we are pleased to share that we have arranged for PwC to host a confidential roundtable for senior HR leaders within our membership.

The intention of this roundtable would be to provide senior HR leaders with an opportunity to discuss experiences and challenges on wider D&I issues, ethnicity pay gap reporting and your current and future plans in this area in a confidential environment. The intention would be to share best practice approaches and practical solutions to complex issues such as GDPR, as well as better understand current and future market practice. The proposed agenda would include, but is not limited to:

  • Introduction to the likely legislation requirements
  • An overview of what systems and data is required in order to report
  • Examples of companies who have disclosed, what their figures and narrative look like and the benefits of disclosing early
  • Data collection issues
  • Dealing with reputational damage
