Over the past year, Granger Reis engaged with more than 170 female executives in real estate to explore their views on gender balance, inclusive cultures, and what is needed to support the next generation of female leaders. Backed by our Policy and Campaigns Committee, this research offers valuable insights into the current state of gender equality in our industry and how we can celebrate diverse people and ideas to drive progress.

This exciting event, hosted by Simmons & Simmons in London, will be your first chance to explore the findings. Our panel of leaders will discuss their interpretations of the research and its implications for their organisations, focusing on "The Great Disconnect"—the gap between potential and reality for women in leadership roles—and the changes needed to create more opportunities.

This research aims to complement Real Estate Balance's biennial survey, providing a platform for sharing wisdom from female trailblazers and fostering greater connectivity across the real estate sector. It is a positive step toward creating more gender-equal leadership now and in the future.

The panel will include:

  • Kate Craig Waller, Partner, Real Assets at Granger Reis
  • Michela Hancock, Managing Director, Europe at Greystar
  • Ciaran Bird, CEO of UK and Ireland at CBRE
  • Kate Curneen, Partner at Simmons & Simmons

Whether you are looking to advance your own leadership journey or support others on theirs, this event is also a great opportunity to contribute to the conversation through a Q&A with the panellists and a networking session with other changemakers.
