Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting

PwC hosted a roundtable for Real Estate Balance members on Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting on 12 September 2019 at their offices, 7 More London Riverside, London SE1 2RT.

Ethnicity pay is an increasingly important topic as seen by the recent Government Consultation on introducing mandatory reporting.

Real Estate Balance works closely with PwC in many areas including our bi-annual surveys and more recently on the reported 2018 gender pay gap and bonus gap figures for the real estate sector.

With the upcoming challenge of data collection and reporting on ethnicity pay, we jointly hosted a confidential roundtable with PwC for senior real estate HR leaders within our membership.

The intention of this roundtable was to provide senior HR leaders with an opportunity to discuss experiences and challenges on wider D&I issues, ethnicity pay gap reporting and their current and future plans in this area in a confidential environment. And, in addition, to share best practice approaches and practical solutions to complex issues such as GDPR, as well as better understand current and future market practice. The following topics were discussed:
