Our NextGen committee is delighted to announce its newest committee member, Shola Oso, Senior Surveyor at Avison Young. Shola brings a wealth of experience from her involvement with Avison Young’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council and that, combined with her personal dedication to supporting equality in the industry, will make her a valuable addition to the NextGen team. A huge welcome to Shola from Real Estate Balance and NextGen!

It is a privilege and an honour to be a part of such a prominent group, representing the next generation of property professionals. From a personal perspective, I have dedicated myself to supporting diversity and equality in the industry since I started my career, as I know it can be a somewhat lonely environment. While I work for a business that is committed to providing an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable bringing their whole self to work, there is still a lot of work to be done across the industry. As such I hope to drive cultural change in the real estate sector to allow for a much more inclusive environment for all.Shola Oso, Senior Surveyor - Real Estate Management, Avison Young.
