2022 - our year in review
On behalf of the whole Real Estate Balance team, I'd like to wish you a very happy new year!
I think we can all agree that 2022 has had its fair share of challenges, yet despite the uncertain times we live in, our growing body of research indicates that the UK real estate industry continues to make significant progress on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I).
So I want to start 2023 by saying a heartfelt thank you for your support and engagement last year - the headway we are making simply wouldn't be possible without you.
2022 was an incredibly busy year for REB - not least because we conducted three major surveys. We went deep into the industry to see how real estate is performing as a whole, our NextGen survey revealed how professionals under 35 are affected, and for the first time we carried out in-depth interviews to better understand what our members want.
One theme to emerge from this third survey was that members would like to learn more about our work and find new, exciting ways to engage with us.
I am therefore delighted to share with you our 2022 Year In Review (click on the link to download) which takes a look back over the fantastic work that took place last year and picks out some key highlights. I hope this snapshot provides you with plenty of ideas and inspiration for ways we can work together to progress D&I within real estate in 2023.
